Tenacity perfects your writing, Here's why

Image
I do not buy credo of the people bloviating that writing can’t be done easily. I had not approved to this thought either, that writing was too difficult a task, and you can't execute your "intangible thoughts" into their factual manifestations as it is demanding, skill-based job which means, it can be done by those having experiential insight in creative writing. As a matter of fact, writing, or content writing, or creative writing is surreal mix of science and art. Therefore, you as a writer, have to get along with your manuscript creatively, in such a fashion demonstrative of the fact that you are unconditionally and passionately committed to it. In the meantime, what I think is a writer should never leave writing holding the baby, just because he is getting fed up with the ill-treatment and mockery his craft receives from naysayers and pedantic critiques. If you ask me, it is unwise to see yourself from naysayer's standpoint. Yeah, you might be thinking...

Writing - Should I pursue online creative writing course?

Image
If the ability to write creatively were possible through courses, the world would rather have become the hub of institutes imparting knowledge on creative writing skills. Can’t deny the veracity of some institutes though, but if you ask me I never went for online creative writing course, or will not do so in future as well.  Why?  To my empirical insight, writing is more  ‘application of your thought in the fashion that is semantically unique’   than  ‘application of an imposed thought-pattern that is semantically artificial and sometimes an esoteric imposition’ .  This is why the world is fraught with  countless writers bereft of distinctive flair in writing , but very few (finger-countable) ones who are truly gifted in their niche. As self-explanatory as it seems, success kisses the latter while oblivion is the reward of the former . You will, if you Google down your query, receive deluge of pros and cons discourses arguing whether or n...

The Privileges I Enjoy With Being A Writer

Image
Some beautiful privileges that I truly enjoy with being a writer stand as follow: I enjoy the beauty of expressing myself, this is something that I find totally irreplaceable creativity of mine. I enjoy the beauty of maximizing vocabulary I'd so time-intensively stockpiled during my school and college days. So far, I have none recourse to leverage on the same, but my writing. I wholeheartedly enjoy the beauty of immersing myself with semantic world. In fact, writing so far been the single recourse that prompted me read books, keep a concise dictionary by Oxford or a book on every short/long-haul journey. I enjoy the beauty of getting inspired from fellow writers, especially those with exceptionality in the niche, those with madly in love with writing, those whose oxygen contains major particles of writing-fixated-affinity when transpired (whose writing is not necessarily a commercially objectified dream). I enjoy the privilege of enhancing the scale of my vocabulary th...

In Forever Love With What I Love To Do

It’s been over four years of my consistent involvement with writing. Seems like the tryst I'd made four years back was fated to be in continuance for a pleasingly unknown time duration. The journey; well, can’t say exactly, but has been on the roller coaster ride. Faced ups and downs in my career. Respected and despised. Praised and criticized. Humiliated and encouraged. Moralized and demoralized. Been disgruntled at vilifications. Made fun of… and appreciated, too. The bioscope of my writing journey in brief – more thorny than rosy! Yet, the significance of the journey was the continuation notwithstanding the “unfavourably more downs than ups” situations I'd encountered! The time I entered into this field I was laterally unbeknownst to my knocking at the door that was the entryway to the labyrinth of immeasurable difficulties. The semblance of the rest, intense competitions dilating everyday to a new dimension in market, each day more challenging than the past day to...

How Does Writing Define You? The Self-observed Viewpoints of Writer Pawan Kumar Jha

I have been writing professionally and personally over the last 4 years; have worked with some great companies as a SEO content writer, and honed my writing skills by working with fellow writers and learning from them. As a SEO writer, I carried typical job responsibilities - writing articles and blogs, all intended to be SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specific. Therefore, in the span of my career as a writer, I wrote mostly for search engine optimization. Now, it’s been four years and the journey of being a writer is still on. Within these periods of my writing career, I have witnessed many ups and downs, however, the significance of them – they taught me keep on keeping on. And I am glad to maintain the continuance till now. Though, I am not a celebrated writer/novelist/author/poet or anyone writing things for commercial purpose or non-commercial entertainment (pleasure writing). However, I have been contemplative for few days as to what other writers across the world feel of ...
